When creating images for this show, I was extremely stressed about things that felt like they were slipping out of my grasp. This led to many long nights questioning how I am supposed to handle everything all at once. I found myself finding comfort in the silence of the night and would eagerly wait for nightfall to create. This feeling of expressing myself through the loneliness of nighttime felt like a calling. I needed to find the answer I was seeking through the call of the night.

Call of the Night is a photographic series of five images that flirt with the ideas and emotions I held during my thought process. I was challenged with personal issues that needed a stage for me to reflect on and these are the gifts that were given to me from those challenges.
