Bio:

Adam was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 1996. He studied painting at the Maryland Institute College of art, graduating in May of 2018. He currently lives and works in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, pursuing his MFA at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts.

Artist Statement:

Adam Jester captures intimate moments and observations of his life through painting. Drawing inspiration from nightly routines, daily encounters with the virtual, and everyday life, his realistic depictions of the human form often repeat, remove, or obfuscate elements of figurative painting,creating narratives that narrowly escape the viewer.
