I take human emotions, ideas, and conversations that shape our lives, and I turn them into art. If I think of a thought, statement, or feeling that I cannot put into words; I create it aesthetically. The content of my art is combined with shapes, objects, and symbols, used to compose messages or statements. Just as many others before me, I have found myself to use art as a way to communicate things I cannot put into words.

My art is based on my experience and how I view the experiences of others. There are reasons and messages behind each piece; I doubt I’d ever involve myself in creating for no reason. I believe if I ever made art for art’s sake, then I’d never be emotionally involved in the artwork. In my belief, as an artist must reflect the time they are given life, I have a duty as a creative historian gifting those who will come after me, with the same inspiration as artists before have gifted me. My love for painting displays the most innate connections I cannot detach from.

Kevo Aregbe was born and raised in Houston Tx, where he was praised on Fox News for the story "From Inmate to Entrepreneur". After a troubled childhood, he went on to open a tattoo business, where he re-created himself as an artist.

Aregbe went on to write books and movies, produce films, and attended the University of Houston for his BFA (MFA at HBU), where he developed a career for creating works to be exhibited.

Aregbe’s art business has been his life's goal for some time, and he considers himself an artist of content. The things we get through make us who we are, so he will always make art with a purpose.
